What is the Best Anti-Aging Combination?

"Scientists have identified a substitute to red wine called Resveratrol that they believe might do more than just protect the heart but could, in very high concentration, significantly extend life by preventing a number of age-related illnesses."

When our producer Michael Scadell asked me to do an investigative report on the popular nutritional supplement Resveratrol when combined with a body cleanse, I had no idea that this powerful combination of two currently available products is perhaps the closest version of the 'fountain of youth' that we've seen! I was facinated.

You may have seen Resveratrol all over the news and media outlets lately and if you're like me you may be curious about this new 'miracle product.' What can it do? Who can it help? What exactly is it? These were some of the many questions that I had and was determined to find answers to.

Resveratrol, frequently known as "ResV," is rich in antioxidants and is a phytoalexin produced naturally by several plants but most often associated with the skin of red grapes and red wine. It has been shown to have multiple benefits including anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, blood-sugar-lowering and other beneficial cardiovascular effects. Resveratrol has also been shown to help reduce wrinkles and fine lines, which is welcomed by many women and men alike.

For years many people have sworn by frequent body cleanses to help remove toxins that build up in the body and increase overall health. In recent years the issue of colon health and specifically colon cancer has been addressed around the world including a special done by US Newswoman Katie Couric who lost her husband due to the deadly disease. It is commonly accepted that toxic buildup of waste in the colon can contribute to many ailments and needs to be removed.

I began to realize the powerful potential of both of these supplements and why health food stores have been pushing them as the 'miracle regimen' for years. By combining the anti-aging and heart-health properties of Resveratrol with the simple cleansing power of a body cleanse we could indeed all be living healthier, longer lives.

"Barbara Walters, CNN, and 60 Minutes were my 'sources'

Resveratrol has been 'in the news' for nearly two decades. For example, 17 years ago, CBS News and Morely Safer did a story on the French who tend to eat a high fat diet, but drink a lot of wine and have lower levels of fat and cholesterol than many other countries.

Those benefits were not the wine, per se, but the Resveratrol in the skin of the red grapes used to make the wine. I learned more about Resveratrol's benefits from Dr. David Sinclair, Associate Professor of Pathology at Harvard University Medical School. In an interview for ABC News, Sinclair told Barbara Walters that study trial participants who used Resveratrol "had improved skin, increased energy and lived 30% longer." Even the US TV Celebrity Doctor who often appears on the Oprah Winfrey show, Dr. Oz says, 'I take Resveratrol myself, and love it.' Dr. OZ goes on to say 'It turns on a system in your body that prevents your cells from aging'. Bottles of Resveratrol have been selling like wildfire ever since Dr. Oz's appearance. But were 'good sales' an indication that Resveratrol was a good product?

I wasn't convinced yet. I decided to try Resveratrol while using a body cleanse at the same time to see for myself... Like I said... I'm in news, and I don't take anything at face value. So I decided to put these two products, ResVMax & Life Cleanse to the test myself and monitor the results I achieved.

I asked two colleagues -- my editor David and my photographer Cyndi -- to take the challenge, too. They're skeptics like me, but they had become somewhat unhealthy over the years due to a hectic lifestyle and caring for their children and decided to give it a try. So the three of us made a pact to take Resveratrol & Life Cleanse for 30 days and document our findings.

We chose these brands due to their well known reputation and ordered them. We received the products shortly thereafter and began the test.

"The results were so dramatic we started to feel healthier and notice we had more energy within 24 hours of taking Resveratrol & Life Cleanse"

It is highly recommend to combine the two products (for more information on the importance of colon health please watch the second video on the right). As the month wore on we gained a tremendous amount of energy from Resveratrol's antioxidant properties that helped to improve our overall health, while feeling much less bloated due to the body cleanse. We were all sleeping better and we looked much better, too, but most importantly all three of us had more energy after a hard days work to spend time playing with our children instead collapsing of in front of the TV as we used to do because of exhaustion.

How You Can Try Both Products With No Risk

One of the attractive things that had us select both ResVMax and Life Cleanse over many competing brands was that both of these companies offer free trials of their products. This allows you to see if the product works as well as it did for us before having to order a 180 day supply for a lot of money only to find out you don't care for it. I personally also feel that any company who offers a trial like this is very confident that their product will work and is obviously standing behind it.

I'd like to thank both companies for graciously providing discount coupon codes for our readers to use which significantly discount the shipping cost of these products.
